Bahrain’s Tatweer Petroleum receives EPC bids for gas compression project
Bahrain is undertaking a field development project to increase oil and associated gas production in the Bahrain Oil Field
Bahrain’s oil and gas giant Tatweer Petroleum received the bidders proposals for the EPC contract of the 7th phase of the Associated Gas Compression Project.
Bidders include Enerflex Middle East, Woodlands Energy Services Co, Petrofac, and TDE Overseas Ltd.
As per the tender notification, Tatweer Petroleum, Bahrain is undertaking a field development project to increase oil and associated gas production in the Bahrain Oil Field.
With this project, the associated gas production is expected to increase to volumes that need to be accommodated by the associated gas handling network.
In order to accomplish this, expansion of the existing associated gas handling network by means of additional compression is required to further advance Tatweer Petroleum’s field development objectives.
The Associated Gas Compression Phase 7 project aims to install three new compression stations to increase the field’s total compression capacity and for enhanced oil recovery purposes.
The Scope of Work includes design, procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of three compression stations.
